Whales, Like Elephants, Are So Social And Intelligent. This Hurts Me To Think Of Them Being Transported, Put In Noisy Airplanes, And Brought To A Horrible Concrete Pen When They're Supposed To Be Out In The Sea.

Chimps Are Brutal, And It Is So Deliberate. The Males Go Out And Get Near The Boundary Of Their Territory. And They Walk Very Silently Trying Hard Not To Make Any Noise. They Will Climb Into A Tree And Stare Out Over Hostile Territory For Hours. They Are Waiting For The Right Opportunity. And Then They Attack.

When I Go Back To Gombe It's To Be In That Timeless World Where It's Soft And Where Life Is Entwined And You Actually See The Pattern Of Nature. I Always Feel This Great Spiritual Power Which I Believe Is Around.
