Whenever You Are In A Critical Temper, It Is Impossible To Enter Into Communion With God. Criticism Makes You Hard And Vindictive And Cruel, And Leaves You With The Flattering Unction That You Are A Superior Person. It Is Impossible To Develop The Characteristics Of A Saint And Maintain A Critical Attitude.

Forgiveness Is The Divine Miracle Of Grace. The Cost To God Was The Cross Of Christ.

If In Preaching The Gospel You Substitute Your Knowledge Of The Way Of Salvation For Confidence In The Power Of The Gospel, You Hinder People From Getting To Reality.

Am I Becoming More And More In Love With God As A Holy God, Or With The Conception Of An Amiable Being Who Says, “oh Well, Sin Doesn’t Matter Much”?

There Is No Condition Of Life In Which We Cannot Abide In Jesus. We Have To Learn To Abide In Him Wherever We Are Placed.
