My Mother, Who Grew Up In Pennsylvania, Literally Washed My Mouth Out With Soap Once For Saying, 'shut Up!' To My Sister. She Would Have Washed My Mouth Out With Gasoline If She Knew How Foul My Mouth Was Racially When She Wasn't Around.

Isn't It Ironic That Today People Say, 'if You Know The Love Of God, You Don't Have To Worry When You Go On In Sin.' But The Apostle John Said, 'if You Know The Love Of God, You Won't Be Able To Go On In Sin.'

Fight For Us, O God, That We Not Drift Numb And Blind And Foolish Into Vain And Empty Excitements. Life Is Too Short, Too Precious, Too Painful To Waste On Worldly Bubbles That Burst. Heaven Is Too Great, Hell Is Too Horrible, Eternity Is Too Long That We Should Putter Around On The Porch Of Eternity.

Christ Did Not Die To Forgive Sinners Who Go On Treasuring Anything Above Seeing And Savoring God. And People Who Would Be Happy In Heaven If Christ Were Not There, Will Not Be There. The Gospel Is Not A Way To Get People To Heaven; It Is A Way To Get People To God. It's A Way Of Overcoming Every Obstacle To Everlasting Joy In God. If We Don't Want God Above All Things, We Have Not Been Converted By The Gospel.
