If We Would Talk Less And Pray

No Man Shall Ever Behold The Glory Of Christ By Sight Hereafter Who Does Not In Some Measure Behold It Here By Faith.

We Need To Attend Diligently To The State Of Our Soul, And To Deal Fervently And Effectively With God About It.

On Christ’s Glory I Would Fix All My Thoughts And Desires, And The More I See Of The Glory Of Christ, The More The Painted Beauties Of This World Will Wither In My Eyes And I Will Be More And More Crucified To This World. It Will Become To Me Like Something Dead And Putrid, Impossible For Me To Enjoy.

Indwelling Sin Always Abides Whilst We Are In This World; Therefore It Is Always To Be Mortified.

A Man Preacheth That Sermon Only Well Unto Others Which Preacheth Itself In His Own Soul. And He That Doth Not Feed On And Thrive In The Digestion Of The Food Which He Provides For Others Will Scarce Make It Savoury Unto Them; Yea, He Knows Not But The Food He Hath Provided May Be Poison, Unless He Have Really Tasted Of It Himself. If The Word Do Not Dwell With Power In Us, It Will Not Pass With Power From Us.
