Be A Good Human Being, A Warm-hearted Affectionate Person. That Is My Fundamental Belief. Having A Sense Of Caring, A Feeling Of Compassion Will Bring Happiness Of Peace Of Mind To Oneself And Automatically Create A Positive Atmosphere.

Just As We Take For Granted The Need To Acquire Proficiency In The Basic Academic Subjects, I Am Hopeful That A Time Will Come When We Can Take It For Granted That Children Will Learn, As Part Of The Curriculum, The Indispensability Of Inner Values: Love, Compassion, Justice, And Forgiveness.

I Have Three Commitments. Number One Commitment Is Promotion Of Human Value. Number Two Commitment Is Promotion Of Race Harmony. Number Three Commitment Is About Tibet. My Retirement Is The Third Commitment. The Previous Two Commitments, To My Death, I Have Committed.

Hard Times Build Determination And Inner Strength. Through Them We Can Also Come To Appreciate The Uselessness Of Anger.

We Are Driven By Self-interest, It’s Necessary To Survive. But We Need Wise Self-interest That Is Generous And Co-operative, Taking Others’ Interests Into Account. Co-operation Comes From Friendship, Friendship Comes From Trust, And Trust Comes From Kind-heartedness. Once You Have A Genuine Sense Of Concern For Others, There’s No Room For Cheating, Bullying Or Exploitation.
