I Felt Very Maternal Around Eight Months. And I Thought I Couldn't Become Any More Until I Saw The Baby... But It Happened During My Labor Because I Had A Very Strong Connection With My Child. I Felt Like When I Was Having Contractions, I Envisioned My Child Pushing Through A Very Heavy Door. And I Imagined This Tiny Infant Doing All The Work, So I Couldn't Think About My Own Pain... We Were Talking. I Know It Sounds Crazy, But I Felt A Communication.

Love Is So Blind, It Feels Right When It's Wrong.

It Is So Liberating To Really Know What I Want, What Truly Makes Me Happy, What I Will Not Tolerate. I Have Learned That It Is No One Else's Job To Take Care Of Me But Me.

I Remember Being In Japan When Destiny's Child Put Out 'independent Women,' And Women There Were Saying How Proud They Were To Have Their Own Jobs, Their Own Independent Thinking, Their Own Goals. It Made Me Feel So Good, And I Realized That One Of My Responsibilities Was To Inspire Women In A Deeper Way.

It Was Great For That To Be My First Movie With Such A Wonderful Cast, And Such A Huge Movie. And Now I Get To Do The Fighting Temptations, Which Is Coming Out Soon-it Wasn't Much Of A Character, It Was More Of A Real Person, So I Got To Show More Of My Acting Range.
