If Our Trade Be Taxed, Why Not Our Lands, Or Produce In Short, Everything We Possess? They Tax Us Without Having Legal Representation.

A General Dissolution Of Principles And Manners Will More Surely Overthrow The Liberties Of America Than The Whole Force Of The Common Enemy. While The People Are Virtuous They Cannot Be Subdued; But When Once They Lose Their Virtue Then Will Be Ready To Surrender Their Liberties To The First External Or Internal Invader.

A True Patriot Would Keep The Attention Of His Fellow Citizens Awake To Their Grievances, And Not Allow Them To Rest Till The Causes Of Their Just Complaints Are Removed.

Our Unalterable Resolution Would Be To Be Free. They Have Attempted To Subdue Us By Force, But God Be Praised! In Vain. Their Arts May Be More Dangerous Then Their Arms. Let Us Then Renounce All Treaty With Them Upon Any Score But That Of Total Separation, And Under God Trust Our Cause To Our Swords.

The Right To Freedom Is The Gift Of God Almighty....the Rights Of The Colonists As Christians May Be Best Understood By Reading, And Carefully Studying The Institutes Of The Great Lawgiver And Head Of The Christian Church: Which Are To Be Found Clearly Written And Promuligated In The New Testament.
