When We Lose Sight Of God We Become Hard And Dogmatic. We Hurl Our Own Petitions At God's Throne And Dictate To Him As To What We Wish Him To Do. We Do Not Worship God, Nor Do We Seek To Form The Mind Of Christ. If We Are Hard Towards God, We Will Become Hard Towards Other People.

If We Pray Only Because We Want Answers, We Will Become Irritated And Angry With God. We Receive An Answer Every Time We Pray, But It Does Not Always Come In The Way We Expect, And Our Spiritual Irritation Shows Our Refusal To Identify Ourselves Truly With Our Lord In Prayer. We Are Not Here To Prove That God Answers Prayer, But To Be Living Trophies Of God’s Grace.

If I Obey Jesus Christ In The Seemingly Random Circumstances Of Life, They Become Pinholes Through Which I See The Face Of God.
