My Mother Was Born - Her Name Was Marianne Moon. And She Was Born In 1903, The Year That The Wright Brothers First Flew.

I Think The Public Needs To Be Reminded Just How Much Inspiration And Intention Was Given Throughout The World To Be Bold, To Send Human Beings To The Moon In The '60s And The '70s. It's Important Now To Bring Together The Nations That Weren't Able To Do It Then And Help Them Do It. We Need To Move Forward.

Six Out Of Seven Times We Landed Successfully [on The Moon]. I Wanted To Be A Part Of That And I Was A Part Of That, So My Personal Feeling Is Of Great Gratefulness For Having Somehow Been In A Position To Have Been Given The Opportunity To Be On That First Landing.
