To See Earth Fully We Already Need

Following World War Ii, The U.s. Was The Architect Of The Un System, And The World Financial System, And The Human Rights Declaration, And Of Course The United Nations Is Based Here In New York City. But, Unfortunately, Especially In The Last Decade, The U.s. Really Has Been Turning Its Back On International Agreements And The Set Of Agencies And Procedures That They Create As A Means For Governing The World.

I Am In Love With This World. It Has Been My Home. It Has Been My Point Of Outlook Into The Universe. I Have Never Bruised Myself Against It Nor Tried To Use It Ignobly.

Mounting Toward The Upland Again, I Pause Reverently, As The Hush And Stillness Of Twilight Come Upon The Woods. It Is The Sweetest, Ripest Hour Of The Day. There Is A Condition Or Circumstance That Has A Greater Bearing Upon The Happiness Of Life Than Any Other. What Is It? Something To Do; Some Congenial Work. Take Away The Occupation Of All People And What A Wretched World It Would Be.
