I Want A Heart Which Is Split, Part By Part, Because Of The Pain Of Separation From God, So That I Might Explain My Longing And Complaint To It.

At Night, I Open The Window And Ask The Moon To Come And Press Its Face Against Mine. Breathe Into Me. Close The Language-door And Open The Love-window. The Moon Won't Use The Door, Only The Window.

This Is How It Always Is When I Finish A Poem. A Great Silence Overcomes Me And I Wonder Why I Ever Thought To Use Language.

The Prophets Accept All Agony And Trust It For The Water Has Never Feared The Fire.

To Love Is Human. To Feel Pain Is Human. Yet To Still Love Despite The Pain Is Pure Angel.
