I Have Seen The Courage Of Parents, Students, Pastors, And Police Officers All Over This Country Who Say 'we Are Not Afraid,' And I Intend To Keep Trying, With Or Without Congress, To Help Stop More Tragedies From Visiting Innocent Americans In Our Movie Theaters, Shopping Malls, Or Schools Like Sandy Hook.

We Still Have Sanctions On Iran For Its Violations Of Human Rights, For Its Support Of Terrorism And For Its Ballistic Missile Program. And We Will Continue To Enforce These Sanctions Vigorously. Iran's Recent Missile Test, For Example, Was A Violation Of Its International Obligations.

You're Not Going To Be Able To Make Good Decisions Without Building Some Relationship Of Trust Between Yourself And Community.

It Is Important For Us To Understand That The Way We Are Perceived In The World Is Going To Make A Difference, In Terms Of Our Capacity To Get Cooperation And Root Out Terrorism. And One Of The Things That I Intend To Do As President Is To Restore America's Standing In The World.
