I Don't Look At Myself As A Celebrity. People Recognize Me, But It's All About My Music, My Songs. It's Not Like I'm A Greater Being. I Take My Kids To School, Pick Them Up, Go To The Grocery Store. I'm A Mother, And My Kids Mean More To Me Than Even Being An Artist.

I've Certainly Had To Go Through Trying To Change The Fact That I Was Always Identified As The Widow Of Notorious B.i.g. You Know, I'm Never Going To Be Able To Get Away From Having Been Married To Him, But That's Not What Identifies Me. You Know, My Life Isn't Just About That.

I Don't Have Time To Sit Up And Write Songs All Day. Maybe One Day When My Kids Get Older.

Whether It's Your Personal Life Or Career, People Feel They Have Carte Blanche To Everything That Goes On In Your Life.
